WHITESBORO BROTHERS WANTED FOR WEAPONS OFFENSES

At about 3 a.m. Sunday, Middle Township Police responded to Wildwood Avenue in Whitesboro for a report of shots fired. Patrol units found about ten people in the area and a shell casing on the road. Police arrested Brian D. Thompson, 29, of Whitesboro, on various weapons offenses. Two vehicles were seized and after the Middle Township Major Crime Unit conducted a search of the vehicles, more weapons and evidence were recovered. Additional charges were filed against Thompson and his older brother, 33 year-old George T. Thompson of Whitesboro. Brian Thompson bailed out of the Cape May County Jail prior to the completion of the investigation. Currently Brian and George Thompson are both wanted for weapons violations.
