The Philadelphia Eagles were supposed to visit the White House on Tuesday to be honored for their Super Bowl victory, but President Donald Trump rescinded their invitation on Monday. Trump released a statement that said in part, “The Philadelphia Eagles are unable to come to the White House with their full team to be celebrated tomorrow. They disagree with their President because he insists that they proudly stand for the National Anthem.” In response to the canceled White House event, Sen. Bob Casey, D-Pa., invited the Eagles to come to Capitol Hill.
