An area lawmaker intends to introduce legislation to regulate and monitor daily fantasy sports companies. Senator Jim Whelan announced his intentions this week in putting forth a proposal. Whelan sent a letter to the Division of Gaming Enforcement and the Casino Control Commission letting them know of his intentions. Both FanDuel and DraftKings got into questions of fairness when what some called “insider trading” took place when employees of one company was winning big sums of money with the other company.
