WEST CHESTER MAN WINS FIRST A.C. IRONMAN TRIATHLON

A 28 year-old man from West Chester, PA, won the inaugural IRONMAN 70.3 triathlon in Atlantic City on Sunday. Brian Duffy was the overall winner of the event, while 28 year-old Lucy Stapleton of New York, was the female winner. About 2,000 triathletes from 17 countries and 42 states competed in the event that began with a back bay swim near Bader Field, then a 56-mile bike trip through Atlantic County, ending at Boardwalk Hall with a 13.1- mile run along the boardwalk.
