The West Cape May Borough Commission will formally vote on a new municipal budget during Wednesday night’s meeting. The budget was introduced earlier this spring with a small increase in municipal spending. The commission will also introduce two ordinances; one of them provides for water amnesty when appropriate and modifies the penalties for a violation. The second ordinance would amend the permit process for events being held on Borough property. West Cape May is also prepared to accept a Small Cities Block Grant totaling just over $210,000. The meeting starts at 7:00pm.
