A man was taken into custody on Thursday in Somers Point when he was found in possession of a gun. The Somers Point Police Department arrested Aaron Kyle, 34, Somers Point for possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon by a convicted felon. Police responded to the area of the Somers Point Shopping Center and when they made contact with Kyle, found that he had a fully loaded 45 Cal . Handgun in his waistband. Aaron Kyle was currently on parole and was wearing a GPS tracking device on his leg as condition for his parole. He is lodged in Atlantic County Jail on $100,000 cash bail.
