Lower Township MUA officials are expecting progress from the state on the Town Bank water project. The Cape May County Herald reports that the Lower Township Municipal Utilities Authority met with the NJ Department of Environmental Protection and they expect a water allocation permit from the state by mid-December. Lower Township is looking to connect about 3,000 homes in Town Bank to the MUA water system. A public hearing on the permit is tentatively scheduled for October 30 at Crest Haven.
