A wake was held on Wednesday afternoon in Howell, New Jersey for Lakewood police officer Christopher Matlosz. Matlosz was shot to death last Friday while on duty; on Wednesday, hundreds of police officers from the Garden State attended his wake. The man who’s the prime suspect in Matlosz’ murder, 19 year old Jahmell Crockam of Lakewood, is being held in jail on $5 million bail. Crockham’s attorney says his client will plead not guilty. Crockam was arrested Sunday morning in an apartment in Camden.
