Have you ever taken a selfie while voting and worried you might get in trouble for it? If so, the New Jersey Legislature is trying to help you. A bill is going to be heard on Thursday in the Assembly that would allow voting selfies. New Jersey law says “no person shall within the polling room mark his ballot in a place other than in the polling booth or show his ballot, nor should anyone request such person to show his ballot during the preparation thereof.” Some of the other bills to be considered on Thursday includes removing black bear from list of game species, establishing a study commission on gender pay discrimination, and upgrading assault on school personnel to a crime of the third degree in all instances.
