Residents of Estell Manor are none too pleased following the decision of council to take a large hike in the school tax. Residents had voted down a 23.4-cent tax increase to the school budget, but council has now approved the increase as is. The Press of Atlantic City reports that council said the district could cut nothing or face consolidation with another school district as the only way to keep going.
