Voter turnout has been very light at many polling locations throughout the county today. It’s primary election day in New Jersey and there are very few races generating any interest. Locally, there is a contested republican primary for a Township Committee seat in Upper Township. Congressman Frank LoBiondo is facing token opposition for his party’s nomination. Senator Cory Booker is running unopposed for his party’s nod statewide. Polls remain open until 8pm.
