A controversial new bill in Trenton that would result in all workers in New Jersey earning paid sick days didn’t go anywhere in Trenton on Thursday. The New Jersey Assembly Labor Committee has delayed a vote on a measure that would result in paid sick days for all workers in the private sector. Democrats who support the bill say they have to consider various amendments. Several groups showed up in Trenton to talk in favor of the bill Thursday and were sent away without being heard.
