The reorganization meeting is being held today for Cape May County. Susan Sheppard will be sworn into her first term on the board. Her running mate, Gerald Thornton won reelection and will also be sworn in by Congressman Frank LoBiondo. The question is who will end up being Freeholder Director. Dan Beyel has held that position but there has been a division in the Republican Party over the last year. The board is made up of all Republicans. A vote will be held by the board today on who will be the head of the Freeholder board.
