The House of Representatives approved letting New Jersey businesses damaged by Hurricane Sandy reapply for disaster funding. The vote came among news that there were delays in the loan process within the Small Business Administration. There were too many requests for the department to deal with during the storm. The measure will now go to the U.S. Senate. Disaster loans didn’t meet the 21 day goal and instead took closer to 45 days or more than double the amount of time.
