VIOLENT CRIME AT LOWEST POINT IN LAST 10 YEARS

New annual crime data shows that New Jersey has done a good job at preventing violent crime. The report shows that the state has hit the lowest point for violent crime since 1999. Violent crimes declined state-wide six percent from the previous year. Newark, Camden, and Jersey City had the most murders in the state, though Camden saw a sharp decrease from 54 to 34.
