VINELAND SUPERINTENDENT WILL STAY ON BOARD FOR ANOTHER THREE YEARS

The Vineland School Board decided to keep its superintendent in the same position for another three years. Much had been made of the job status of Mary Gruccio and it seemed like they were going to vote against her. A decision had to be made by the end of this year to keep a three year extension from kicking in at the end of 2015. Now Gruccio will remain in the same post until the end of the 2018 school year. Discussion and vote took place on Wednesday night during the board’s meeting with a number of speakers coming forward in support of Gruccio.
