VINELAND MAN RESCUED FROM SUBMERGED PICKUP TRUCK

A Vineland man was rescued early Tuesday morning after his pickup truck went off the road into Willow Grove Lake. NBC-40 reports that the driver left the 2500 Block of Weymouth Road in Vineland at about 1 a.m. Tuesday, entered the lake and submerged. The man, whose identity was not released, was briefly trapped in the truck and taken to Cooper University Hospital in Camden with undisclosed injuries. Officials are investigating the cause of the accident.
