A Vineland man was indicted on vehicular homicide and three (3) counts of assault by auto, in connection with the death last year of a 14-year-old female, and the injuries received by three other occupants of the vehicle. Nicholas Garreffi, 40, of the 300 block of Brookfield Street, Vineland was indicted for vehicular homicide and three counts of assault by auto. The State alleges that Garreffi operated a motor vehicle while under the influence of a narcotic, causing the death. A 2nd degree crime carries a potential penalty of 5-10 years of incarceration in New Jersey State Prison. The potential penalty of a 4th degree crime is 18 months of imprisonment.
