VINELAND MAN FACES POTENTIAL OF LIFE IN PRISON AFTER CONVICTION

A jury found a Vineland man guilty of felony murder in the death of an unarmed man. John Ramirez committed the crime in 2009. He was also found guilty of aggravated manslaughter, armed robbery, among other offenses. Ramirez faces a mandatory term of 30 years in jail without parole and up to life in prison. Sentencing will take placed on Feb. 7. Evidence showed that the victim was shot in the face at close range and died from those injuries.
