VINELAND MAN ARRESTED FOR DRUG DISTRUBTION

Vineland Police say they were able to take a suspect into custody just prior to the end of Sept. A search warrant was executed at 84 S. West Ave. and Francisco Nieves was arrested. The 50-year-old was charged with drug possession and drug distribution charges, among related offenses. Nieves was held on $150,000 cash bail at the Cumberland County Jail. As a result of the search warrant, police seized a large quantity of prescription pain pills, other controlled prescription pills, and non-control prescription pills. A shotgun and 3 handguns and over $900 in cash were also seized from the apartment. The prescription pills had an approximate street value of over $1,000.
