The historic day took place in Wildwood on Saturday, with local, state, and federal lawmakers in attendance, along with the men and women that helped make this country what it is. The unveiling on the Vietnam Memorial Wall in Wildwood took place and thousands were in attendance for the unveiling. Many involved with the unveiling and festival that took place after want this to be an on-going ceremony for the future. The wall is a half-size replica of the wall that sits in Washington D.C. and unique for most other walls out there. It is made from granite to ensure it would hold up with the sea breeze in Wildwood. Those that missed the ceremony are encouraged to visit the wall in Columbus Park, which is across the street from the Wildwoods Convention Center.
