VICTIM OF FATAL MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENT IDENTIFIED

The victim of the fatal pedestrian motor vehicle accident in Hamilton Township has been identified as John W. Clayton, age 45, of Egg Harbor Township. Clayton was struck by a vehicle on Sunday at 8:15 pm while crossing Route 322 at milepost 52.5. Clayton died at the scene from his injuries. The driver of the vehicle was identified as Caterina Giordano, age 58, of Waterford Works, NJ. Giordano was transported to the hospital for minor injuries. Police are continuing their investigation.
