VETOED: LEGISTION WOULD HAVE PROVIDED MEDICAID TO MORE WOMEN USING FAMILY-PLANNING SERVICES

It is too fiscally irresponsible. That is what Gov. Chris Christie said about expanding Medicaid to more women seeking family planning services. Opponents of Christie say he is using his pro-life beliefs and putting them before state residents. The Christie administration says the Medicaid program in the state is underfunded by $1.1 billion in 2012, and accepting this measure would only add to the problems.
