This Saturday the Millville Army Air Field Museum will hold its 15th annual Veterans Appreciation Day at the museum near the Millville Executive Airport. This year’s event will pay tribute to military veterans, the 10,000 serviceman who trained at the airport, and it’s 75 year history. The ceremony will include the dedication of a stone marker honoring the 75th anniversary of the airport near their original flagpole. The guest speaker on Saturday will be Charles Osborne, a pilot who trained at the air field in 1944, and flew 26 combat missions in Europe.
