VETERANS GET SPECIAL PERKS FOR HOLIDAY

In addition to recognition received from the Veteran’s Day holiday, local vets are getting special treatment from local businesses to honor their service. A bed and breakfast in Ocean City offered a free stay for a technical sergeant returning from Kuwait and her husband, under the B&B’s for Vets program. In Atlantic City, a seafood restaurant in Harrah’s Casino offered free meals to all veterans on Sunday. This was the 15th year that McCormick and Schmick’s gave out complimentary meals for veterans to say thanks on their special holiday.
