VETERAN’S DAY REMOVED AS HOLIDAY IN STONE HARBOR FOR DAY AFTER CHRISTMAS

Public employees in Stone Harbor will be working Veteran’s Day this year. Council approved a measure that would have workers come in on Veteran’s Day so that the day after Christmas could be a day off. This year Christmas falls on a Thursday, so some employees in the borough wanted to be able to take a four day holiday to be with their families during Christmas.
