On Thursday administrative and medical leaders from the Veterans Administration held a two-hour hearing on Thursday in Atlantic City for local veterans to air their complaints. More than 30 people told federal V.A. officials their stories of long waiting times, denials of care and complaints about the lack of attention to their issues due to bureaucracy. The V.A. says they will be providing additional staff at their three South Jersey locations to help alleviate some of the problems veterans have been facing with their health care.
