VENTNOR WOMAN FOUND GUILTY IN HUSBAND’S MURDER

After brief deliberations on Tuesday afternoon, an Atlantic County jury has convicted Loretta Doyle Burroughs of murder for killing her husband and hiding his body in plastic storage containers. Burroughs was also found guilty of hindering apprehension. Her bail was revoked and Burroughs was taken into custody. Police arrested Burroughs after her husband’s remains were found in storage containers inside the guest bedroom closet of her Ventnor home.
