A Ventnor man was killed in a shootout with police Monday night after EMS personnel responded to a call at a home on Marshall Avenue near Dorset Avenue around 6:30 p.m. Philly’s Fox-29 reports that the paramedics were met with gunfire and multiple police units responded, including the Atlantic County SWAT team. A man who lived inside the home with his parents was killed just outside his front door as a result of the shootout. The Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office has been on the scene all night investigating the incident and more information will be released as it becomes available.
