VEHICLE HITS UTILITY POLE IN ABSECON

Police are investigating a motor vehicle accident. A vehicle hit a utility pole in Absecon on Saturday. As a result of the accident power in the area is out as well as traffic lights from Turner Avenue eastbound and westbound on Absecon Boulevard which was later put back in service by Atlantic Electric. The pole was split in half by the accident. Police did not report any serious injuries as a result of the crash.
