Rep. Jeff Van Drew has announced he has been given a seat on the House Judiciary Committee in the 118th Congress. Van Drew, representing New Jersey’s 2nd Congressional District, was re-elected for a third term last fall and began serving that term this month. Ohio representative Jim Jordan chairs the committee that is expected to have a high profile over the next two years. Rep. Jordan, in a letter sent last week to US Attorney General Merrick Garland, has stated the committee will be investigating classified documents found in President Joe Biden’s home and at the Penn Biden Center from the time Biden served as Vice President.
