New Jersey State Senator Jeff Van Drew says he will do everything he can to oppose a recent nomination by Governor Chris Christie to the Delaware River and Bay Authority. Van Drew told the Press of Atlantic City that Christie’s nomination of Camden County resident Richard Mroz to the DRBA is “not a done deal”, and he plans to oppose it. Van Drew and other politicians from this county are puzzled over the nomination since Mroz would replace Neils Favre, a Cape May resident, on the authority. Van Drew told the Press that his research shows that the appointment made by Chrisitie is legal.
