A fence that was meant to protect the Great Egg Harbor Bridge could be down almost as quickly as it was put up. State Senator Jeff Van Drew says he expects the fence to be torn down before the start of the tourism season, according to a report by the Press of Atlantic City. Van Drew toured the site with state officials on Thursday. The paper said Van Drew said the fence should be down by July 4 at the latest.
