There is a sharp disagreement between Gov. Chris Christie and Senate President Steve Sweeney over whether a tax cut is feasible. Christie is pushing this objective heading into the new year. Senator Jeff Van Drew, who also serves on the Senate budget committee says he thinks the state should look at how a tax cut could be accomplished. Van Drew has supported a tax cut initiative by Christie in the past as well.
