Over the next month, your local state senator will be available to talk about the upcoming budget, at a supermarket near you. State Senator Jeff Van Drew is going on this tour of supermarkets throughout the 1st District. The first stop is today at the Millville Shoprite, between 4 and 6 p.m. Over the next month, Senator Van Drew will stop at nine supermarkets across the 1st Legislative District to discuss Governor Christie’s proposed spending plan with residents. The listening tour comes as members of the Senate Budget and Appropriations Committee are reviewing the proposal in Trenton. First District Assemblymen Nelson Albano and Matt Milam (D-Cumberland/Cape May/Atlantic) will also be available at some locations.
