Congressman Jeff Van Drew told reporters in Washington on Tuesday that he’s “re-evaluating my life and my thoughts”. Van Drew would not comment on a potential switch to the republican party. Van Drew did indicate that he would seek re-election to his congressional seat next year. Political experts believe it will be tough for democrats to find someone to appeal to voters like Van Drew does, if Van Drew runs as a republican.
