On Wednesday afternoon a vacant two-story home was destroyed by fire in Atlantic City. Firefighters responded to the unit block of N. Trenton Avenue at about 1:30 p.m. to find the house fully engulfed in flames. The fire was brought under control in about 45 minutes and no injuries were reported. Damage was sustained by the home of a next door neighbor, who said the house had been vacant for at least 15 years.
