UPPER TOWNSHIP RESCUE SQUAD CELEBRATES 50TH BIRTHDAY

A local rescue squad has turned half a century old. The Upper Township Rescue Squad announced on Sunday it turned 50 years old. The squad is the volunteer sisters to the Division of EMS in Upper Township and acts as a secondary to medical aid calls in the township. The are also the primary on water rescue, K9 search and rescue, and fire ground rehabilitation. They currently operate one ambulance, one combo rehab/ambulance, a rescue boat, and one support vehicle
