UPPER TOWNSHIP MOVES TOWARDS DISBANDING ITS ZONING BOARD

Upper Township is moving forward with a plan to have its zoning board take over the duties of the planning board, and disband the planning board altogether.  The reason?  Not enough applications to sustain both boards.  Upper Township officials believe the disbanding of the planning board could save the township approximately $1,000 per month.  Committeeman Ed Barr voted against the proposal.
