UPPER TOWNSHIP LOOKS FOR MORE COMMERCIAL DEVELOPMENT

The tough economy has made it hard to attract new businesses, but Upper Township has found some success. Mayor Richard Palombo says that the township is going to continue to pursue these new businesses this year. The New Jersey Department of Transportation has provided the township with a $200,000 grant to look at the Route 9 corridor. The township is looking both at what new businesses can come in and ensuring there is proper infrastructure in place for those businesses.
