A woman was struck and killed by a drunk driver just before 4 a.m. Friday morning near the 2300 block of Atlantic Avenue in Atlantic City. Police identified the victim as a 26 year-old Brigantine woman but did not release her name. She was hit by a 21 year-old Egg Harbor Township man, who then crashed into a tree about 30 yards from the accident scene. The driver was charged with DWI and violation of a provisional driver’s license, with additional charges pending.
