Two brothers from Whitesboro, wanted on various weapons charges in connection with an incident on Sunday, have turned themselves in to police. On Tuesday 33 year-old George Thompson and 29 year-old Brian Thompson surrendered to Middle Township Police and are being held at the Cape May County Jail on $75,000 and $125,000 bail, respectively. Police had responded to a report of shots fired at 3 a.m. on Sunday, when Brian was arrested and two vehicles were confiscated for evidence. Brian Thompson posted bail before police obtained a search warrant for the vehicles, which led to additional charges against him and his brother George.
