UPDATE: VINELAND SCHOOLS WERE CLOSED DUE TO SOCIAL MEDIA THREAT

Vineland Police confirm that Thursday’s shutdown of local schools was caused by a social media threat alleging a shooting at one of its schools.  Police say the threat specifically referenced the high school, and all Vineland schools were shut down as a precaution.  Police continue to investigate the matter.
