A new forecast map by the National Weather Service calls for up to eight inches of snow in parts of Cumberland and Atlantic counties. Most of those counties and all of Cape May County will see 4 to 6 inches in the latest forecast. Models continue to produce new results as we get closer to the snowfall and predictions can change between here and now. Current thinking is that the snow will begin during the overnight hours on Thursday morning and produce snow into Thursday afternoon. Depending when the change over from rain to snow takes place with determine how much snow the area will receive.
