Police have released more information on the early Thursday morning head-on collision that killed 62 year-old Lydia Brannon of Philadelphia on Route 55 in Maurice River Township. Officials said the driver of a Chevy Silverado, 27 year-old Timothy Dupnock of Port Norris, may have fallen asleep at the wheel, causing him to cross over from his southbound lane into the oncoming Ford Fusion driven by Brannon. The crash sent her car into the southbound lane where she was struck head-on by a tractor-trailer, driven by 38 year-old Raymont Felder of Maryland. Both Dupnock and Felder sustained non-life threatening injuries. The accident remains under investigation.
