UPDATE: MORE CAMPUSES OF STAR CAREER ACADEMY CLOSE ACROSS NEW JERSEY

Star Career Academy has closed five locations in the region. The for-profit training school closed down on Tuesday without notice. Initially, Coastal Broadcasting reported that the location in Egg Harbor Township was the only one that closed but in fact five campuses in New Jersey were shut down. Star Career Academy campuses in New Jersey are located in Brick, Clifton, Egg Harbor and Newark, in Pennsylvania in Philadelphia and in New York in New York City. The Culinary Academy of Long Island is located in Syosset, N.Y. and ServFast Computers is located in Toms River, N.J. The school cited financial concerns for the closings.
