Officials have identified a body found Friday morning near Sandy Hook as a man who went missing while swimming on Wednesday. Federal parks authorities identified the man as 25 year-old Andros Vega-Pena of Red Bank, who was swimming with a group of people Wednesday evening at Beach B when he came into distress, according to the National Park Service. A search was conducted for two hours until it was too dark to continue. The search resumed on Thursday but Vega-Pena could not be located. A fisherman discovered the body at about 6 a.m. Friday, just north of the location where Vega-Pena went missing.
