Ocean City voters will discover two oddities on their school board ballots for the November 5th election. The Ocean City Gazette reports that only two candidates have filed for three openings of three-year terms on the board. The third candidate will need to be chosen by write-in ballot. However, seven names will be on the ballot for the unexpired term of former board member Gregory Donahue, who recently resigned. Apparently none of the seven candidates chose to file for the three-year terms by the deadline in June.
