Atlantic City is back down to one airlines carrier. United Airlines announced it would no longer operate out of the airport, cancelling its service to Chicago and Houston. The two services will be discontinued as of Dec. 3. This marks a quick turnaround from a big press conference held last year when Gov. Chris Christie trumpeted the investment being made by United Airlines into the resort. The airlines was only operating there for seven months. Spirit Airlines remains the only carrier that will remain in Atlantic City.
