The unemployment rate in New Jersey has remained at 9.1 percent. Another 13,000 jobs were lost in January. Slightly more jobs were shed in the private sector, but the loses were spread fairly equally. The state got rid of 3,800 jobs, while local governments accounted for 2,600. In total, 17,000 jobs were lost for all of 2010.
